The MFC journey began after completing undergrad at Temple Univ. Instead of pursuing a dental career, I found myself climbing the ranks in the family commercial cleaning business. Despite funding my community college classes with night work, my dental school plans hit a roadblock, and simultaneously, I was offered the Director of Operations role at the cleaning company.
Faced with a choice, I decided to take a chance on the new career opportunity, becoming the youngest Director of Operations in the company’s 25-year history. After three years, desiring more influence over company processes, I became vocal about changes, leading to my eventual termination.
This setback prompted a realization – it was time for my vision. In 2011, Midland Floor Care was born. Drawing from my experience in the cleaning industry, I understood the impact of workplace cleanliness on customer experience. I envisioned being an ally to commercial clients in maintaining their spaces with the same passion they serve their customers.
Starting with minimal equipment and a modest setup, my primary goal was to survive the challenging initial years. Learning that the key to longevity is supporting others, Midland Floor Care evolved over 13 years into an organization with a mission turned obsession – creating sustainable floor care programs to keep commercial retailers thriving.
